Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods throughout Florida and the Southeast region
- Perform pre-trip inspections, ensure vehicle maintenance compliance, and report mechanical issues
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS guidelines, and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology while meeting strict delivery timelines
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging records
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading and delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments and problem resolution
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Current DOT medical certification and ability to pass company physical
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation systems
- Strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer satisfaction
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening (required by DOT)
- Florida residency preferred for local route knowledge
