Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local/regional routes within 200-mile radius of Nashville
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspectionsLoad/unload freight using pallet jacks and forklifts (certification provided)
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and electronic logging system (ELD) compliance
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status and route adjustments
- Represent Express Logistics Solutions with professionalism in customer interactions
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment maintenance protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (pre-employment and random)
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Nashville metro area and surrounding regions
- Flexibility for early morning starts (4-5 AM) and occasional weekend shifts
- Basic smartphone proficiency for digital documentation
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
