Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for multi-stop deliveries
- Maintain strict delivery schedules and time-sensitive routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and documentation
- Load/unload freight with proper material handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Navigate complex urban and rural delivery zones
- Assist in route optimization and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Virginia geography
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- DOT medical certification current
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
