Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to deliver time-sensitive goods across regional routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain detailed vehicle maintenance logs
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet tight deadlines
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and problem resolution
- Adhere to DOT regulations, HOS protocols, and company safety standards
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments and load coordination
- Document delivery exceptions and communicate critical shipment updates
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Current DOT medical certification and ability to pass company physical
- Proficiency in using electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and route planning skills
- Clear criminal background check and drug screen required
