Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A CDL vehicles for multi-state deliveries (GA to LA routes)
- Execute timely pickups and drop-offs in New Orleans metro area
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Secure cargo according to DOT regulations
- Communicate with dispatch using telematics systems
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Manage route optimization for maximum efficiency
- Adhere to HOS and all federal/state transportation laws
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean MVR (no DUIs in last 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Knowledge of Georgia/Louisiana DOT regulations
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate loading equipment
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Experience with refrigerated/hazardous materials preferred
- Strong navigation skills for multi-state routes
