Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to pick up and drop off packages in a timely manner.
- Interact professionally and courteously with existing and prospective customers.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, ensuring proper handling of fragile items.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and handle paperwork as required.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation systems and map reading.
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Reliable personal transportation to and from work.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
