Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and tractor-trailers safely and efficiently on local and interstate routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records via Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and daily logs.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, road safety, and navigation.
