Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain a box truck for local/regional deliveries
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and on-time performance
- Complete accurate documentation including BOLs and delivery confirmations
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintenance checks
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck operation experience
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability)
- Reliable box truck (26ft+ preferred) in good condition
- Strong knowledge of Indianapolis metro area
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Smartphone with GPS and reliable communication
- Pass background check and drug screening
