Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and tractor-trailers safely and efficiently across the United States.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding cargo status and delivery times.
- Uphold a professional image and customer service standard at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Current DOT medical card.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices.
- Physically capable of performing the duties of a truck driver (lifting, climbing).
