Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to deliver freight on time
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Perform minor repairs and report maintenance needs promptly
- Plan efficient routes using GPS and road condition reports
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Ohio/Midwest roadways
- Flexibility for overnight trips and weekend shifts
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent time management and communication abilities
