Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) in accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and documentation.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery logs.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and schedule delivery times to meet customer expectations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding route changes or delays.
- Represent the company professionally at all times, maintaining a clean driving record.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Current DOT medical card and DOT physical exam on file.
- Clear Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional overtime as needed.
