Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A/B) to deliver freight on time
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate driving logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and techniques
- Communicate with dispatch regarding delays or route changes
- Maintain clean driving record and compliance with all traffic laws
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable truck driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Georgia traffic laws and route planning
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work in various weather conditions
