Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 semi-trucks for regional weekend routes (Friday-Sunday)
- Load/unload cargo with precision and adherence to safety protocols
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) and DOT compliance documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Collaborate with dispatch for efficient route optimization and on-time deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during client interactions
- Adapt to changing schedules and delivery priorities as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Proficient with GPS navigation and electronic logging devices
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Knowledge of Washington state highway regulations
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
