Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local and regional deliveries
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload cargo using proper material handling techniques
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient service
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Complete electronic logging systems (ELD) and documentation accurately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of San Diego County road networks and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends as needed
