Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional deliveries
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology to meet tight deadlines
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Collaborate with dispatch teams for real-time load adjustments
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Handle specialized freight requiring temperature control or hazmat certification
- Represent Austin Trucking Solutions with professional conduct at all delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Strong knowledge of Texas highway systems and delivery zones
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and operate loading equipment
- DOT medical certification and clean drug test history
- Experience with electronic logging systems (ELD)
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and Sundays with occasional holiday shifts
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
