What You Will Do
As a Truck Driver at Kansas Freight Solutions, your primary focus will be the safe and timely delivery of freight across the region. You will be a key ambassador of our brand, representing our commitment to excellence in logistics.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently to deliver goods to customers on time.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (ELD) and maintain a clean driving record.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal DOT regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging devices and paperwork.
