Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL) for long-haul and regional routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Inspect vehicles before/after trips and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Handle freight loading/unloading with proper safety protocols
- Communicate professionally with clients and warehouse personnel
- Maintain clean driving record and safety compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation and trip planning software
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
