Responsibilities
- Safely operate school buses on designated routes following traffic laws and safety protocols
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Supervise student behavior and maintain a positive, secure environment
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Adhere to strict schedules and maintain accurate attendance records
- Emergency preparedness training and response
- Assist students with mobility needs as required
Qualifications
- Valid Arizona Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with P/S endorsement
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Clear driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist students with mobility
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Child CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
