Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, flatbed) for point-to-point deliveries
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain meticulous vehicle inspection logs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Handle specialized freight including temperature-sensitive and oversized cargo
- Provide excellent customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Utilize GPS tracking systems for real-time route optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Miami metro area traffic patterns and delivery hubs
- Hazmat certification preferred (will train if not certified)
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities
