Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods across the region and beyond.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper securement and weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate logs (DVIR) and adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
- Uphold a clean driving record and a professional appearance at all times.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A or B) is preferred but not required for entry-level candidates (training provided).
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong commitment to safety and following instructions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of navigation and GPS systems.
