Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and delivery documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse teams
- Secure and verify cargo during loading/unloading procedures
- Address minor mechanical issues and report maintenance needs
Qualifications
- No prior truck driving experience required – we provide paid training!
- Valid Class A CDL or ability to obtain one through our program
- Pass background check and DOT physical examination
- Basic math skills for weight distribution and log calculations
- Ability to sit for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety-first practices
- Must be at least 21 years old with clean driving record
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including overnight routes
