Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance issues
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Secure cargo according to DOT regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Philadelphia metro area and surrounding states
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Proficient with ELD systems and mobile technology
- Flexibility for occasional weekend/holiday shifts
- No major preventable accidents in last 3 years
