Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes (DC/FL)
- Adhere to DOT regulations and conduct thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization and delivery timing
- Ensure proper cargo handling and securement protocols
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding shipment status
- Participate in continuous safety training and compliance updates
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of HAZMAT regulations (HAZMAT certification preferred)
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with DC/FL highway systems
- Ability to work independently in night shift conditions
