Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A & B) in a safe and efficient manner.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and secure cargo according to weight and balance specifications.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and adhere to all traffic laws and delivery schedules.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery times and issues.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and presentable.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Familiarity with Electronic Logging Devices (ELD).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
