Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on regional and long-haul routes, including destinations in Florida.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using appropriate equipment (forklift, pallet jack) when required.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and customer service standards.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable truck driving experience (regional or over-the-road).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, cargo securement, and safety regulations.
- Willingness to travel to Florida and other assigned regions.
- Reliable personal vehicle for daily commute to the terminal in El Paso.
