Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to deliver goods to designated locations on schedule.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (ELD) and all required paperwork.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes and delivery issues.
- Keep the cab and trailer clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT physical card.
- Clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with logistics software.
