Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (dry van/reefer) for local/regional routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Deliver freight to customers on time and in pristine condition
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Assist with loading/unloading when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Familiarity with Michigan/Illinois roadways
- Basic understanding of electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Flexible schedule availability (including weekends)
