Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Maintain meticulous trip logs and documentation in compliance with DOT regulations
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and delivery schedules
- Load/unload cargo with proper securing techniques
- Build strong relationships with clients through professional communication
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred but not required
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong geographical knowledge of Florida and Southeastern US
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Proven safety record with zero preventable accidents in past 3 years
