Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for long-haul and regional routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain accurate logbooks
- Inspect vehicles before/during trips to ensure mechanical safety
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient load delivery timelines
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Utilize GPS technology for optimal routing and delivery efficiency
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening
- Flexibility for overnight travel and varying shift schedules
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement and weight distribution
