Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes
- Execute timely deliveries while maintaining strict safety protocols
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and documentation
- Optimize routes using advanced GPS and fleet management systems
- Coordinate with dispatch for real-time load adjustments
- Maintain compliance with FMCSA regulations and hours-of-service rules
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficient in electronic logging device (ELD) usage
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong navigation skills and route optimization knowledge
- Flexibility for early morning start times and weekend shifts
- Previous hazmat endorsement preferred (training provided)
