Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A/B) for local/regional deliveries
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Ensure strict compliance with FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Safely transport hazardous materials (Hazmat endorsement a plus)
- Maintain clean driving record and adhere to company policies
- Perform basic trailer maintenance and secure cargo properly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable OTR or regional experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of California roadways and delivery zones
- Strong communication skills and customer service focus
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work flexible shifts
- DOT card and TWIC certification preferred
