Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across Michigan and neighboring states
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure DOT compliance at all times
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Adapt routes based on traffic, weather, and delivery priorities
- Represent the company professionally with all stakeholders
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Michigan roadways and regulations
- Flexibility for early morning/late night shifts
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds periodically
