Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles for local/regional routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate trip logs
- Load/unload cargo with precision and adhere to safety protocols
- Optimize routes to meet tight delivery schedules
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Comply with FMCSA regulations and company policies
- Operate specialized equipment (reefers, flatbeds) as assigned
- Maintain clean driving record and zero-tolerance safety culture
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR/CDL experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and operate in various weather conditions
- Proficient in ELD systems and digital logging
- Strong navigation skills and route optimization knowledge
- Flexibility for overnight/weekend shifts as needed
