Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatchers for efficient route planning and delivery timelines
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Document delivery details and resolve any transit issues promptly
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all traffic laws
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Flexibility for overnight travel and weekend shifts
