Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight across Southern California
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation per FMCSA regulations
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, clients, and warehouse teams
- Handle hazardous materials shipments with DOT compliance
- Load/unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment
- Represent Pacific Coast Transport Solutions with professionalism at all delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and HAZMAT protocols
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly
- Flexibility for early morning starts and occasional overnight trips
