Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for regional deliveries within San Francisco Bay Area
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Handle specialized freight including temperature-controlled and hazardous materials
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Utilize telematics systems for real-time tracking and communication
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Bay Area geography and traffic patterns
- Hazmat endorsement preferred (training provided)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Pass background check and employment verification
