Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks on local and regional routes within the Seattle metropolitan area.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring the preservation of goods during transit.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all necessary shipping documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable professional driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings or late nights, as needed.
- Strong understanding of cargo handling safety and weight distribution.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
