Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for regional routes within 300-mile radius
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while maintaining strict adherence to DOT regulations
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and complete accurate logbooks
- Collaborate with dispatch team for optimal route planning and load efficiency
- Communicate effectively with clients and warehouse personnel during loading/unloading
- Maintain clean, compliant vehicle appearance and report maintenance needs promptly
- Participate in ongoing safety training and compliance updates
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years verifiable experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and HOS compliance
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge preferred
- Regional driving experience in Tennessee required
