Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and vans to deliver freight on time and in perfect condition.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring weight distribution and securing loads.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and stay compliant with DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Clean Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with required endorsements.
- Valid DOT Medical Card (or willingness to obtain one).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, safety procedures, and vehicle maintenance.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Excellent time management and customer service skills.
