Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks in accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Deliver freight to designated locations on time and in the condition promised.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and documentation.
- Load and unload cargo safely, using proper securing techniques.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and any delays.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A CDL) in good standing.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current DOT Medical Card and physical examination.
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Strong navigation skills and ability to read maps and GPS systems.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual tasks.
