Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers for regional routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper securement techniques
- Maintain electronic logs and delivery records
- Communicate with dispatch regarding route adjustments
- Represent Peak Freight professionally at all client sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with mountain driving conditions
- Basic knowledge of electronic logging systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- No major preventable accidents in past 3 years
- Must reside within 50 miles of Denver
