Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and vans in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently and securely to ensure damage-free delivery.
- Maintain accurate logs and all necessary paperwork (Bill of Lading, delivery receipts).
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and any delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Clean driving record (no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy objects and performing manual labor.
