Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for local deliveries within San Diego County
- Complete pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals and maximum efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Handle loading/unloading operations with proper equipment handling techniques
- Utilize GPS technology for real-time navigation and route adjustments
- Submit daily delivery logs and expense reports through digital systems
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency in using electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS systems
- Strong knowledge of San Diego geography and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Professional communication skills for client interactions
