Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A/B CDL) for local and regional deliveries within NYC metropolitan area
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols during all transit operations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for real-time payment processing
- Coordinate with dispatch teams to optimize delivery routes and minimize downtime
- Inspect vehicle pre/post-trip to ensure mechanical compliance and safety standards
- Provide exceptional customer service during client interactions at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to navigate complex urban environments and traffic patterns
- Pass mandatory DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with NYC parking regulations and delivery zone restrictions
- Basic knowledge of electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly during loading/unloading operations
