Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (dry van, refrigerated, flatbed)
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate logs
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Optimize routes for efficiency and on-time delivery
- Complete electronic logging system (ELD) compliance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Texas road networks
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally
- Basic navigation/GPS proficiency
- No preventable accidents in last 3 years
- Twic card preferred
