Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently on assigned routes within the Dallas metroplex and surrounding areas.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securement and weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation, including DVIRs and delivery receipts.
- Provide excellent customer service during pickups and deliveries.
- Maintain a clean and organized cab and truck interior at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical, background check, and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
- Physically capable of lifting and moving freight up to 50 lbs and climbing in and out of the cab.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
