Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver freight on time
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate logbooks
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Secure cargo and comply with all DOT regulations
- Communicate delivery status to clients and operations team
- Report maintenance issues and maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Support warehouse loading/unloading when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years recent commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Chicago metro area roadways
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility for early morning start times
- Basic smartphone proficiency for app-based pay access
- DOT medical certification current
