Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight across Los Angeles metro area and surrounding regions
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and minor maintenance checks
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company policies
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Manage load security and documentation requirements
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with LA metro traffic patterns and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb trailer steps
- Smartphone proficiency for electronic logging
- Flexible schedule including nights/weekends as needed
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred
