Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for local and regional deliveries in Charlotte metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using electronic logging systems
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance standards are met
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and DOT regulations at all times
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Manage time efficiently to meet delivery deadlines and optimize routes
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding route changes or delays
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Charlotte area roadways and traffic patterns
- Strong attention to safety and compliance with transportation regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally during loading/unloading
- Reliable transportation to and from terminal locations
