Responsibilities
- Safely operate assigned commercial vehicle over designated regional routes
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and compliance documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adapt routes for weather/traffic conditions while meeting delivery deadlines
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Uphold FMCSA safety regulations at all times
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate in varied weather conditions
- Pass DOT physical and background check
- Strong navigation skills (GPS proficiency required)
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
